Nel luogo dove si trova oggi la Chiesa di Sant’Anna era presente una chiesetta dedicata a Santa Maria della Neve, risalente almeno al XIV secolo, stando alla data incisa sull’antica campana. L’antico edificio a pianta quadrata, venne modificato nel XVIII secolo con interventi di ampliamento. Nel 1931 la chiesa subì un crollo e fu quindi restaurata e ingrandita. Venne ribaltato l'antico orientamento della stessa: la “nuova” facciata principale e il portale sono collocati sulla via Porta Sabauda, anziché su via Cavour. La pala dell’altare maggiore è una grande tela di scuola romana della prima metà del XVIII secolo: raffigura la Santa Titolare.

On the site where the Church of St. Anne stands today, there was once a small church dedicated to Santa Maria della Neve, dating back at least to the 14th century, as indicated by the date engraved on the old bell. The original square-plan building was modified in the 18th century through expansion work. In 1931, the church partially collapsed and was subsequently restored and enlarged. The original orientation of the building was reversed: the “new” main façade and entrance are now located on Via Porta Sabauda instead of Via Cavour. The altarpiece is a large canvas of the Roman School from the first half of the 18th century, depicting the church’s patron saint.
